Meanwhile, rather good alpha combined with a ROF of 25 and an adequate 2.3 second aiming time makes for a fearsome weapon strapped to a light tank. High penetration with 87 standard and 131 premium are enough for almost anything you will meet. On the flip side, the tank is extremely reactive with 60 degrees of tank traverse! Now for the gun. You're still leaps and bounds faster than the slow bugger "light" tanks, the AMX 40 and Valentine, but the top speed is a bit mediocre for the vehicle class and the acceleration is a little bit sluggish, especially up hills, due to the rather weak engine. Post-rework, the tank still has firepower that the other tier 4 lights envy, however the balancing factor is that the mobility is good, but not as good as a Luchs or M5 Stuart, being closer to the Covenanter. To illustrate what I mean, before the light tank changes, this tank had firepower that was better than most (if not all) of its brethren but didn't have scout matchmaking. It's important to note that this tank is a light tank, and not a scout tank. This tank sets a good few tones for the rest of the line: good DPM, middling mobility and able to take hits about as well as my self-esteem. Review: If you're not going to grind the line, I would at least recommend taking the little time it takes to get one of these because I think this tank is a little gem. Suitable roles: Mobile DPM platform, passive scout, budget TD, mid range support, pixel tank harassment, low-key stat padder This tank has one turret and one engine, meanwhile the 47mm is borderline identical to the 57mm, with only minor differences. The tank is borderline identical in stock configuration and fully upgraded. Grind difficulty: I mean, it's tier 4 guys. Weaknesses: Armour, health, iffy gun handling, power-to-weight (for a light tank), not the most accurate thing in the world. Strengths: Camo, gun depression, alpha is sort of high (tier 4 is a weird place), penetration, good DPM, good top speed (again, tier 4 is a weird place), hull traverse, the premium round, god-tier terrain resistances. Right, that's enough rambling, your opinion might differ to mine etc, you get the drill. This is likely because it seems to be very difficult for me to actually dislike a tank, and often don't have a problem with tanks that everyone hates (with some exceptions, also sometimes the opposite is true). Furthermore, I'm very aware that my opinion that the line has no bad tanks is in the minority.
Or maybe you like being able to point your gun down? On a more serious note, this line is not friendly for new players and it's very important for you to know what your tank can and cannot do. Anyways, to clear things up, you go for the STB-1 if you are a sweaty medium tank nerd, but are too edgy to use Russian hovermeds. For credibility's sake, I guess I'm okay at the game and sometimes I even do over 1000 damage, so I suppose I know what I'm talking about generally speaking and you should most certainly listen to me. I mean, this is another line that I like and people bitch and moan about the Imperial Japanese medium tanks, so I thought I would write about it for a bit.
